I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and the founder of Healing Journey Counseling Center, where I support high-achieving women navigating anxiety and depression as they reconnect with balance, emotional well-being, and fulfillment.
My work extends beyond traditional therapy. In Spring/Early Summer 2026, I’m opening Thrive + Align Wellness, a mind-body healing space rooted in holistic care, movement, nervous system regulation, and intentional rest. Thrive + Align was created to help women heal through embodied practices, hobbies, and community, recognizing that wellness is built not only in the therapy room, but through connection, creativity, and alignment in everyday life.
In addition to client care, I mentor licensed therapists in starting, building, and sustaining solo private practices, helping them create ethical, aligned businesses without burnout. I also provide structured supervision, guidance, and oversight for Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselors (PLPCs) as they work toward completing their clinical hours with confidence and clinical integrity.
Across every role, my mission is the same: to help individuals and clinicians thrive internally and align externally, emotionally, professionally, and holistically.
2025 was a year that challenged me, stretched me, and ultimately changed how I see people and relationships. From family and friendships to boundaries and accountability, this season brought clarity I didn’t know I needed. In this post, I share the lessons I learned the hard way. The lessons that reshaped my perspective, deepened my self-awareness, and taught me how to protect my peace as I step into a new season.
As the year comes to an end, many of us find ourselves carrying more than we expected like the pressure to finish strong, the weight of holiday expectations, the emotions that resurface during family gatherings, and the burnout from a year that demanded so much. This blog offers a soft reminder that it’s okay to slow down, honor your capacity, and move through the season at your own pace. You don’t have to match the energy around you. You don’t have to perform holiday joy if you’re overwhelmed. This is an invitation to breathe, release the pressure, and choose gentleness as you close out the year.
