Wellness Wednesday: My Daily Wellness Routine
by Myisha JacksonSo many people come in with unexplained physical symptoms.
Neck and back pain. Stomach problems. A racing heart that feels like a heart attack.
And when they run to the doctor, all the tests come back “normal.” That leaves them feeling confused, frustrated, and even questioning if they’re “crazy.” But here’s what I know; a lot of these issues are connected to mental health. Our body really does keep the score. What our mind tries to suppress, our body remembers.
That’s why I started Thrive + Align Wellness. I want to help people heal their bodies and not just their minds.
Let’s be real. Most of us aren’t moving enough anymore. Between working from home, sitting at desks, and being glued to our screens, our bodies take a hit. It eventually shows up in how we feel mentally.
My Morning Wellness Routine
Here’s how I like to start my day:
Wellness Shot – I make my own blends (they’ll be available soon at Thrive + Align). This is my go-to immune boost and energy in the mornings.
Farmasi Supplements – I love their Omega 3 Fish Oil and Green & Berry Gummies. They’re simple, they taste good, and they keep my brain, heart, and gut in check.
Coffee or Matcha – Some mornings I make my own matcha. When I make my own matcha I add in Beauty Booster Collagen other days I grab Farmasi’s Delish Instant Coffee and Chicory Blend. It’s easy on the nervous system, gut-friendly, and still gives me that coffee vibe without the crash.
Focus-ish Planner – I stay on track with my Focus-ish: Get Your Day Together daily planner. It helps me keep order in my day without overwhelming me.
I’m not a fitness trainer. I’m not a nutritionist. I’m a licensed therapist who has seen how deeply mental health shows up in the body. That’s why I talk about this. I even wrote another blog called It’s Not Just in Your Head—It Could Be Your Blood Work where I break down why lab work is so important. (And yes, you can go to LabCorp yourself to order labs without waiting on a doctor’s note.)
Disclaimer: Don’t start anything new without talking to your doctor first.
